AUVSI Advocacy

AUVSI advocates for uncrewed systems from state to international levels. Visit the AUVSI website for news about these efforts.

Ridge and Valley Region Advocacy

Because the region represented by Virginia’s Ridge and Valley chapter of AUVSI has international leaders in the development, manufacturing and creative use of autonomous vehicle systems and components, there is also a need for regional advocacy.

The Ridge and Valley Chapter engages with state and local policy makers concerning the autonomous systems industry through Virginia’s Office of the Secretary of Technology and through various economic development organizations, including:

– The Virginia Uncrewed Systems Center at VIPC
– The Virginia Economic Development Program
– Onward New River Valley
– The Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council
– Virginia Tech’s Office of Economic Development

Joining an AUVSI chapter is a terrific way to help build a strong network to advocate for uncrewed systems and autonomy. You might also consider joining and contributing to the “Unmanned Vehicle Systems Group of Virginia” through Linked-In.
